Training and professional development
We plan ahead in times of a skills shortage. We recruit a large proportion of our skilled workers and management in the industrial, technical and commercial fields from our own ranks. With the BERGER quality training we have been providing young people with the tools for a qualified vocational training since 1905. In addition to this, BERGER offers dual studies jointly with the University of Applied Sciences Deggendorf and the Berlin School of Economics and Law. Besides our own junior staff, we naturally provide openings for newcomers from different backgrounds and experienced professionals.
After starting their career, we also give our employees ongoing further education in the form of individual training programmes. These are delivered as internal training in the different sectors or jointly with other specialised departments. The result is a wide-ranging exchange of knowledge and the most up-to-date expertise. In addition to this we offer our staff the opportunity to participate in external courses.
